GERMANTOWN, MD – JumpLights®, a leader in horticultural lighting solutions, announced today that Matteo del Ninno has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. The move follows del Ninno’s ten years of service to JumpLights in technical roles. He most recently served as the company’s Chief Technology Officer and will continue to be based at JumpLights’ Maryland headquarters.
“We’re excited for Matteo to take on the COO role,” said JumpLights’ CEO John Peeler. “He has made tremendous contributions to JumpLights growth over the years and is ideally suited to lead JumpLights’ operations moving forward.”
Del Ninno is a lighting and horticulture industry veteran, skilled engineer, and experienced entrepreneur who co-founded JumpLights in 2016. He has a Master of Science in Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech

This announcement comes on the heels of JumpLights’ launch of its new Lumia lensed light for greenhouse and indoor cultivation and its April launch of the Vert, a multi-tier light for cannabis cultivation.
Del Ninno and other JumpLights executives will be at the IgniteIt Chicago Cannabis Capital Conference June 15-16.
