As CEO of Veeco Instruments, John led the development of LED manufacturing equipment that dramatically reduced the cost of making LEDs and helped to enable LED Lighting, making him one of the leading experts in LED technology. He also designed groundbreaking instrumentation for the Communications Industry and ultimately built a world-leading company in Communications Test, JDS Uniphase Test and Measurement division. John has also led as chairman of the board for various companies.

Ryley is the Vice President of Sales at JumpLights®, where he leads growth strategies and customer engagement for the company’s innovative horticulture lighting solutions. He brings deep expertise from across the cannabis and lighting industries, having previously served as VP at Dove Robotics and in Global Business Development at Fluence. Earlier in his career, Ryley founded and served as CEO of EndoCanna Labs, a Colorado-based cannabis production and research company. With a proven track record in commercialization, partnerships, and market expansion, Ryley is passionate about helping growers achieve better outcomes through advanced technology.
Mark is the driving force behind JumpLights’ business development and sales. Mark is a seasoned professional who specializes in delivering exceptional value to clients transitioning to LED lighting within Controlled Environmental Agriculture (CEA). His visionary outlook and problem-solving prowess have positioned him at the forefront of the industry, recognizing the pivotal role lighting plays in production and quality.

Ankur Bansal leads JumpLights’ manufacturing and sourcing strategy. He joins JumpLights with extensive experience steering high-impact procurement, sourcing, and operational strategies across the global manufacturing and advanced product sectors. With a solid engineering foundation via a B.Tech from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and an MBA from Northeastern University, he is perfectly positioned to spearhead JumpLights’ operations and supply chain as the company scales its high-performance product portfolios.
Anand brings decades of experience in engineering, product development, and technical leadership to JumpLights. Throughout his career, he has taken complex hardware products from concept through design, certification, manufacturing, and commercial deployment, with expertise spanning electrical and mechanical design, embedded systems, industrial IoT, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing.
A longtime entrepreneur and hands-on engineer, Anand has co-founded multiple technology companies, brought more than 15 products to market, and holds more than 20 patents in the U.S., Japan, and Europe. At JumpLights, he leads product engineering across the company’s portfolio, helping guide products from initial concept through production and continuous improvement.
Laura brings a decade of design and marketing experience to JumpLights, combining creativity with a knack for problem-solving. A graduate of MICA with a BFA in Graphic Design, she has spent the last 7.5 years working at marketing agencies, helping clients across a wide range of industries find the best way to market their brands. From tech to healthcare to consumer goods, she’s tackled it all—adapting strategies and visuals to make the biggest impact.
With experience in graphic and web design, project and account management, photography, and videography, Laura thrives on turning ideas into compelling visuals. She’s all about creative solutions that drive results—and having fun along the way.
