JumpLights is pleased to announce that the company recently received a Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 grant from the The Maryland Department of Commerce.
The funds, which help Maryland businesses to invest in Industry 4.0 technologies, will support JumpLights in implementing an automated integrating sphere inspection system and a sensor-equipped drone to digitize LED quality control, map production workflows, and capture field performance data to improve manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.
This round of grants were awarded to 22 businesses, supporting more than 1,100 jobs in Maryland. JumpLights was the only grant recipient from Montgomery County.
Maryland’s Manufacturing 4.0 grants play a key role in supporting local business in Maryland according to Governor Wes Moore. “Investing in advanced technologies allows Maryland’s businesses to modernize their operations, remain competitive, and drive economic growth in our state,” said Gov. Moore. “We’re proud to support the Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 program’s continued success and ensure that local businesses have innovative resources to help them thrive.”
JumpLights was honored as the Maryland Technology Council’s Emerging Technology Company of the Year ICON Award winner in 2025 and continues to design, assemble, and test all of its products at its headquarters in Germantown, MD.
