GERMANTOWN, MD, May 22, 2025 – The Maryland Technology Council (MTC) has selected JumpLights, a leader in innovative horticulture lighting solutions, as the winner of its 2025 Emerging Technology Company of the Year ICON Award. JumpLights emerged as the winner from a group of five finalists that also included the promising companies RedZone Technologies, RF Safety Laboratory, xop.ai, and Epoch.
According to the MTC, the award recognizes an emerging technology company “with a clear strategic direction that sets it apart in its market. This award celebrates a business that demonstrates innovation in a product or service, as well as the ability to attract resources and drive significant financial growth, positioning them for future success.”

The MTC announced JumpLights’ victory at its annual Industry Awards Celebration on Wed., May 21. The celebration is the premier event recognizing Maryland’s top leaders and companies that are shaping the future of their industries.
